Why Conversations Matter: Wahu Kaara
Wahu Kaara, who set us down the path of celebrating African women as agents of social transformation in February, joined us for an extraordinary week that began with breakfast with Nicholas Kristof and culminated in the Women of Africa Forum. In San Diego to accept Project Concern International’s Humanitarian Award, Wahu also shared her personal story (link to interview) along with a wonderful commentary on “right caring” and reflected on her experience with the role of conversation in change. |
